I had the pleasure of flying with Bob on many occasions. He was a consummate professional who quietly went about doing his job, but was happy to coach and share with newer pilots tips and techniques he had learned which elevated flying to an art form. He taught me that airmanship shouldn't suffer at the hands of the new technologies being introduced to aircraft – lessons which are still being passed on. My condolences on his far too early passing. He was a true gentleman.
