Condolence From: Gord Leitch

Condolence: I had the pleasure of flying with Bob on many occasions. He was a consummate professional who quietly went about doing his job, but was happy to coach and share with newer pilots tips and techniques he had learned which elevated flying to an art form. He taught me that airmanship shouldn't suffer at the hands of the new technologies being introduced to aircraft – lessons which are still being passed on.

My condolences on his far too early passing. He was a true gentleman.

Bob was a very important part of the Gwillam family. He was larger than life and always enjoyed family times. He treasured those close to him and always let you know he cared. As you know, he always felt comfortable telling you how he felt and where he stood be it political or social issues. You have to love his forthright position on all thing important to him.
