WARRINER, Patricia Ruth (nee Stalter), R.N.
Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on July 10, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Jack for 65 years. Dear mother of Valerie of Cumberland House, Saskatchewan, Michael (Collette) of Sunderland, Edward (Catherine) of Sunderland, and Charles (Bonnie) of Stouffville. Loving Grandmother to Luke (Erin), Nicole (Dave), Ruth (Micah), Jordan (Katie), Martha (Phil), Tara, and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ann Beare (Ivan) of Port Perry, and Lynda Draper of Peterborough. Predeceased by her brother, David Stalter. Pat was an active member of the Markham Missionary Church. She was a 30 year volunteer at the Markham Fair, a volunteer at Stouffville Care and Share, and participated in numerous other community projects. Pat was an avid gardener until she could do no longer due to Alzheimer’s disease. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Parkview Home, Stouffville who took such good care of Mum the past couple of years. Visitation will be held at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road), Markham on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service in celebration of her life will be held at Markham Missionary Church, 5438 Major Mackenzie Drive E., Markham on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2pm. A reception will follow in the church and all are welcome. Private interment at Peaches Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario or Canadian Food Grains Bank.
