GROSDANIS, Dimitroula (Jeannie)
It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that our beloved mother passed away on October 16, 2017 at Markham Stouffville Hospital. As a result of complications following surgery and after a valiant fight in ICU she passed away surrounded by her family. Dimitroula will be remembered by her loving son and daughter Michael Grosdanis and Helen (Grosdanis) Gioia and George Nagy. Grandsons Alex Gioia and Danny Gioia. Sister Katina (Giotis) Frangos and her husband Gus Frangos. Her brother Kousmas Giotis and his wife Mary Giotis. Her sister-in-law Helen Grosdanis wife of deceased brother-in-law Tom Grosdanis. Her sister-in-law Voula (Grosdanis) Karapalidis wife of deceased brother-in-law Angelo Karapalidis. Her sister-in-law Anastasia (Grosdanis) Giovis and husband Tom Giovis. Dimitroula was predeceased by her loving husband Aristidis Grosdanis, her mother and father Marika and Stefano Giotis, her mother-in-law Eleni Grosdanis. Dimitroula will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. A visitation will be held at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on October 19, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place in the Chapel on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10am. Donations may be made to the Markham Stouffville Hospital.
