Peacefully surrounded by his family, Jim went to be with the Lord, on June 12, 2017 in his 77th year. Loving husband of Elizabeth for 50 years. Beloved father of Rob and his wife Liz, and Jennifer and her husband Paul. Devoted grandfather of Joshua, Julia, Victoria and Clarice. Brother of Bill and his wife Susan and the late Betty Ann and her husband Doug. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North (Markham Road) Markham, on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at Unionville Alliance Church, 4898 16th Avenue, Unionville on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Medeba, Box 138, West Guilford, Ontario, K0M 2S0 or to Unionville Alliance Church.
