LECKIE, Wayne Morris
Passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on April 15th, 2017 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay after a courageous battle with cancer. Wayne enjoyed his retirement with his wife, Judy and split their time between Kawartha Lakes and Sebring, Florida, golfing, fishing, boating, camping and being a grandad/poppa. Survived by his wife, Judy Leckie (nee Walker), his children Beth (Dave), Christine, and Steven (Susan), and treasured grandchildren Victoria, Cameron, Catherine, Hannah and Emily. Fondly remembered by his brother Jim (Pat) Leckie, brother-in-law Bernard Grimes, and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, James and Jenny Leckie, and sister Betty Grimes. A visitation will be held at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 11am-12pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel at 12pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay and Princess Margaret Hospital Radiation Oncology Department.
