The world is less beautiful without Evelyn and her musical gifts. She was a positive role model in my life as I sang under her direction in various choirs.

I was so happy to have had a chat with her at the Community Club pot luck last month. A cherished moment.

Condolence: Dear Gib, Mike and Gayle and the whole WHIT Clan,

So sorry to learn of Evelyn's passing. When I think her, it's the same scene in my minds eye. I pull into the driveway and find Mrs. Whit tending to flowers out front (not Gib's roses as I recall) and we'd have chat about the last trip or the next planned trip or "the crop" and eventually which field or gate I might find Mike at.
She was a lovely, kind and generous lady and will be missed by all.
Thinking of you today this weekend as you celebrate her life well-lived.
