Condolence: Laurine and I offer our most sincere condolences to Alvin's family on the loss of their father, grandfather.
I knew Alvin during the late 60s when he was at the GBSS and living in Villa 'A' St.George's with his uncle Paul Scoon - then Cabinet Secretary (subsequently knighted by the Queen during his historic service as Grenada's Governor General) a house very familiar to me as my own grandparents lived there during the 50s. In later years, during the 70s when Laurine and I were living in Ottawa, we were delighted to have Alvin stay with us for a few days while he attended a work related seminar. We lost track of one another subsequently.
We very much regret we are unable to attend the visitation due to prior commitments. Our hearts go out to Alvin's children and grandchildren.
