Condolence From: Susan Fitzpatrick
Condolence: Dear Parlato family, I think of Adrian often. I think of his big boisterous laugh echoing through heaven. I recall a few years ago he brought the most beautiful outdoor Christmas plants for our family. He was such a thoughtful man, always helping people. Miss you Adrian. Susan Fitzpatrick (Leah Chan’s mom).

Condolence: Dear Parlato Family, Know that one of your own was a splendid spirit on this earth and brought joy and laughter to younger generations to come. We will always remember when to "Park Ourselves" ! LOL and when to look into things on a deeper level. It saddens us that he is gone, we can only imagine the loss you feel. But, be proud of him... he was amazing . Jerema (Jem) - Mary Ward Religion Student

Condolence: The words are difficult to write... My memories of time shared will forever have a special place in my heart. Whether Adrian and I were talking about sports and cars (which always impressed him that I was interested and knew the latest),or listening to his amazing school stories, he always spoke with a certain sparkle in his eye. Adrian had a wonderful laugh and I loved his gentle nature; with Adrian, his humility spoke volumes. To Adrian, little things meant a lot. To my wonderful nephews, Matt and Cameron, I send you my love and my deepest condolences. To Janice, please take comfort in knowing the lives he touched and the legacy he leaves are a true testament to his character. Love you all, CA

Condolence: It will NEVER be the same here at Mary Ward without our Adrian. He always came into the main office to say hello with a hug. Always had time to catch up on my family and what they were up to. I will miss his infectious laugh and the mutual respect we had for one another. May I hear your laughter often and I will treasure our memories. He was truly a wonderful human being and a classy gentleman. I will MISS him. Love you Adrian.

Condolence From: Mary Nersessian
Condolence: Mr. Parlato was my TA for 5 years, from 1994, to 1999. But he was so much more than that: a teacher, a mentor, my activist, my supporter. He lifted me up when I was down, and gave me the encouraging words I needed to forge ahead. He played a major role in shaping my education but also helping me get through my teenage years. It is a profound loss to the community and he will never be forgotten. I will always remember the deep love and pride in his voice when he spoke about his wife and sons. May he rest in peace.

Condolence From: Brendan Shane
Condolence: Dear Aunt Janice and Matthew and Cameron, I am so so sorry and shocked to hear about Uncle Adrian. Your heads must be spinning trying to process any part of this.     This situation has reminded me so much of my own father's brief battle with cancer and death.  His was two weeks start to finish in the hospital and that felt like the blink of an eye in many ways while an eternity in others.        Someone told me that losing a parent involves losing a part of ourselves too and I certainly felt that way and I'm guessing you do as well.   Losing a parent is tough for almost anyone but I think it was tougher for me than the average person because my father was such a source of strength and support in my life... my dad really was a superstar father and my hero and I think Uncle Adrian was the same to you three.   From my vantage point, he seemed to live his life for you three as the best fathers do! The void that is left after someone departs differs from person to person and Adrian must leave a huge void in your lives because of his kind, generous, and loving nature.   There will be many many hard days ahead and I'm sure you're aware of this; however, I want you to know that it has been almost 8 months since my dad died and I never thought I would have healed the way I have.    I still think of my Dad ALL the time which will never change but the grief and sorrow aren't crushing me anymore.  It did for months but if I can get through this, I know you guys can too.    I've heard that God often takes the good ones quickly and it sure sounds like this is the case here!  Adrian was such a great man and I will miss him and I know Danielle, Justin, and Mike will too!   Danielle has shed so many tears for her wonderful uncle.    I know that my Dad has sent me a few signs from above to let me know he's alright and I bet Adrian will do the same for you guys!   Keep your eyes open for them and I bet he'll be able to surprise you here and there!    I will keep you all in my prayers and I'd be happy to chat fellas if you ever want to vent to someone who just went through a very similar situation.  Love Brendan (and Logan and Liam too)

Condolence: Very sorry to hear about Mr. Parlato's passing. I'm hoping to come to the viewing on Monday. I had him as a Religion teacher 3 times at Mary Ward. Condolence: Dearest Janice, My thoughts, prayers and deepest, most sincere sympathy are with you and the boys. There are just no words to express our sadness. The lovely pictures you've posted here, capture the beautiful smile I always saw when I'd leave school and see him waiting for you or whenever Wayne and I would visit with him at the antique car shows. I know he was so very well-loved and cherished and this is such a profound loss for every one of his family and friends. Please know that Wayne and the girls are deeply saddened by your loss. Please also know that in the weeks and months to come, I, like so many of your family and friends, will be here to support you and help you in any way I can. With love and sympathy, Jan Pinsonneault
